Brockwitz Germany Charlotte Blue Compote
Description
This very rare blue Charlotte Compote was a winning bid on e-Bay in 2009. I had never seen one of these before and as far as I know, they are hardly seen. This one had been in the hands of an antique dealer in Denmark for years.
Brockwitz blue items invariably always show much blue, turquoise and heavy amethyst iridescence as on this item.
It measures 4.25" high with a base diameter of 3.5" and a top opening of 5.5" wide.
