Brockwitz Germany Curved Star (Zurich) Marigold Cylinder Vase

This beautiful little marigold Curved Star cylinder vase was bought from a dealer in the UK in the late 1990s. These vases, as far as I know, come in two sizes.

This little beauty shows off the iridescence that Brockwitz was renowned for, rich with pinks, turquoise and golds.

There are quite a few different items in this pattern and some of them turn up very regularly at collectors fairs and on eBay. The vases, however, are somewhat more difficult to come by.

This piece measures 7.5" high, with a base diameter of 2 3/8" and a top opening of 2.5".
