Brockwitz Germany Rose Garden (Rosor) (Rosen) Blue Cylinder Vase
Description
This incredible scarce cylinder vase came out of the blue after we had been collecting European Carnival glass for a few years. The seller had come across it in the UK and knowing we already had a number of items in this pattern made us his first port of call.
This scarce giant of a vase weighs an incredible1.5 kilograms or 3 lbs. 3 oz.
The pattern is cut into the glass and highlights the beautiful rose to wonderful effect. Each side shows a different range of the colours, which are amazing, ranging through different shades of blue to deep red, rose, and gold.
Brockwitz made a number of items in this pattern including vases in different shapes and sizes and various rose bowls.
It stands 11" tall with a base diameter of 3.5" and a top opening of 4" wide.
