Dugan Twigs Amethyst Non-Crimped Round Vase

The non-crimped round is the most basic shape, in all likelihood the proof. This is the shape that was offered to wholesalers in the April 1906 Butler Brothers sale catalog in non-iridescent opalescent glass.

Extremely rare in carnival, only this one has been reported.  It stands four and one-fourth inches tall.

Don recalls how he purchased this one on eBay from a seller in New York. He had seen the vase on eBay but the picture was very blurry and Kris told him not to buy it. He was at a friend's house in Vermont when he was able to bid on it and win it. It cleaned up pretty well and Kris changed her tune!
