Eda Sweden Solros Blue Vase

This beautiful blue Solros vase by Eda came to us via a dealer from Sweden in the early 2000s. It is yet another fine example of the quality of the Carnival glassware that Eda produced in their short timespan. This pattern is almost identical to the Sunflower and Diamonds pattern by Brockwitz. There is however a marked difference in that Eda's version has less petals on the Sunflowers.

This Eda version shows the iridescence off to it's best with heavy blues, amethyst, pink and gold. Whilst the larger Marigold Brockwitz vases seem to be fairly easy to find, the Eda smaller blue vase is very hard to come by.

It measures 7.5" high, with a top opening of 3.5" and a base diameter of 2.75".
