Eda Sweden Svea Purple Giant Rosebowl

While surfing eBay during the first week of December 2015, I came across this bowl. The seller was from Sweden and someone that I had never heard of before.

It was a very poor selection of photos but I could see what it was. A purple giant rosebowl called Svea, made by Eda of Sweden. We have a purple and an amber rosebowl in the same pattern that are 3 1/4" wide and also another purple one that is 4 1/2" wide. This giant one is 4" high and 8" wide.

This has been quite a year for us and these large European bowls and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have them in our collection.
