Eda Sweden Tokio Blue Vase
Description
Tokio is a very scarce pattern by Eda. The only colours I have seen are marigold and blue.
Each row on the vase has a curved edge that juts a little farther out than the previous one. It looks a little like an upside-down frilled tiered cake. The base pattern in the marie is very unusual and is totally different to Eda's usual star-shaped motifs.
This beautiful blue vase came from Sweden in the early 2000s. It displays Eda's craftmanship to its utmost showing an iridescent mix of ruby, blue and gold, the likes of which we have come to expect from this wonderful glassmaker.
It measures 7.5" tall, has a top opening of 3.5", and the base diameter is 3".
