Fenton Holly Blue Opal Bowl

We acquired this Fenton blue opalescent Holly bowl probably five years ago at a local auction. I don't think a single bidder realized what it was including us. We walked right by it the first pass just thinking it was just another Holly bowl so we checked out the half dozen carnival bowls scattered about and was there was nothing appealing.

The good color on the Holly bowl drew me back to it and I picked it up and after inspecting it I said, "This isn't your everyday Holly bowl".

Well, we hung around for a few hours and we won it, paid for it and home we went. This bowl cleaned up so nice and the opalescence just stands out on the electric iridescence. A long day but a good day.
