Fenton Leaf Chain Marigold Plate
Description
I purchased this plate because I thought this was the ultimate example of true Pumpkin Marigold. What makes it so is the touch of green iridescence which signifies the pumpkin's stem. I think the majority of collectors feel Pumpkin Marigold needs to be at least this deep, luscious, pinkish-orange you see here to qualify. I don't blame them. I've been at that thinking for several years. Then came the day when I acquired this piece and I knew the old timer's opinions were right! This is the real deal!
