Imperial Diamond Block Marigold Vase
Description
We have long enjoyed this Diamond Block vase by Imperial that we bought
early in our carnival glass journey. I found it in an antique shop with
a price tag of $50, which was far to much to spend without the approval
of Debbie.
I told her about the vase and we made a trip back to check it out the next time we had a day off together and she liked it too, so it got to come home with us. Since that time I can’t remember seeing another one in a shop.
It is a nice pastel marigold and is 10” tall and 4 1/4” across the base and very heavy for its size.
I have often wondered why Imperial didn’t make these vases in purple, they would sure be beautiful. I know these vases have never been that desirable and I wonder what prices they would bring if they were made by Millersburg?
