Imperial Flute Purple Punch Bowl Set

Auctioneer Tom Burns was having, what he called, a "2-Day Super Sleeper Auction", on Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th, 2017 in Hagerstown, Maryland. This was a large auction with 506 lots, so that's why it was two days long.
There were two items that I was very interested in and this was one of them. It's this purple, 8-piece Flute punch set made by Imperial. We have been on the lookout for a Flute set ever since we aquired a purple, Heavy Grape 8-piece punch set several years ago. Doing a live phone bid, because we live in Wisconsin and could not be there, insured that it would be heading our way very soon.
It was with great joy when this set was finally delivered and I got to set it up next to our Heavy Grape set (shown last). WOW....what a perfect pair!
