Imperial Four Seventy Four Emerald Green Punch Bowl Set
Description
Phil Hessenius sold this gorgeous punch bowl at auction in 2005. Actually, he sold two 474 punch sets that day, this emerald green one and a purple one. Rick Stockhill purchased them both who later passed this emerald green one on to Stacy & Des Wills. They sold it to Gary & Janet Heavin who then sold it to me.
I remember the time well. It was the Christmas of 2012. It adorned my holiday table with the glow of a Blue Spruce Christmas tree, no ornaments needed! All I can tell you is that it's fantastic and Oh! so magical. She's the Imperial Queen of Emerald Green.
It's been in several rarities talks at convention seminars. It is one of the few known in Emerald green, which is a term to describe green glass covered with a beautiful blue, glowing halo of iridescence.
