Imperial Poppy Show Smoke Vase

In September of 2015 our friends, Tony & Mary Jo DeMichael, had their auction. Jim Seeck, auctioneer, had the honor so we drove to Mason City, Iowa to attend the sale.

When this Imperial Poppy Show vase in smoke came up for bidding, so did my number. I couldn't let it get away. The iridescence is off the charts and we love it.

It's a pretty large vase at 12" tall. These come in many other colors including amber, green, lavender, marigold, and purple.

These were also reproduced by Imperial but you can tell which ones they are because of the IG mark on the bottom. The old ones are not marked.
