Mentors? I would have to say after some consideration there have been many. Over the many years of being in the "Carnival" world I can think of the many collectors that encouraged me by sharing their knowledge and frienships thereby feeding my interest, but truly, my special mentor was George, my husband.
He always made life interesting and more so as we learned together about this interesting and beautiful glass as we hit the highways and byways in search of that next special piece. Collecting carnival glass enriched our lives individually and collectively. In my heart he is still collecting with me. He and the glass will always be part of me.
