Maker Unknown Auckland a.k.a. Spears & Diamonds Band Marigold Vase

I bought this piece early on in my collecting days when we visited a fair in York. The stall holder was just placing the piece onto one of the tables and I thought, "I have to have that." I didn't have a clue what it was or who made it. I just liked it. Needless to say, ten minutes later it was mine after a bit of a price discussion.

There is a recessed base as can be seen in a couple of the pictures. Its height is 18.5 cm, base diameter 8 cm, and top diameter, at the widest point, is 14.5 cm. Unknown maker at this moment in time but thought to be of European manufacture.
