Millersburg Pipe Humidor Amethyst Pipe Tobacco Humidor
Description
It was John Rogers who bought this really pretty Millersburg Pipe Humidor at the 1998 Texas convention auction. Then, he sold it at his 2009 HOACGA convention auction where Aaron H. bought it. Years later, during the 2015 Tampa Bay Club convention, I had the opportunity to buy it from Aaron.
The bottom section shows colors ranging from magenta, blue and golds and the top is loaded with dark greens and reds with a gold pipe, all in a radium finish. I have never seen such a contrast of colors that work so well together. It's a dandy!
These are so far and few in between that I feel very fortunate to own such a pretty example to go with my marigold one. There is only one color left to complete the set. That color is green.
