Millersburg Rose Columns Amethyst Vase

This extremely elegant vase was purchased at the Tampa Bay Carnival Glass Club convention auction on February 8, 2014. This auction featured the collection of John & Judy Gosselin of Canada although this was not their vase. It was actually an additional consignment to Tom Burns from Harold Coleman. Tom's description says it all. The last two photos are from his catalog.

It just may be the prettiest example of Rose Column you'll ever see. It's what ten inches of decadence looks like! This top-of-the-line piece serves as a proud representative of Millersburg's excellence.

This vase was shown all that week prior to the auction in Wally McDaniel's room. It was mounted on a mirrored, battery-operated turn-style so everyone could swoon over it and see that every side of it was spectacular. There wasn't a weak spot on it. Just in my heart. It certainly was a good draw for the auction.
