Millersburg Vintage Blue Ruffled Sauce Bowl

I purchased this sweet 6" ruffled blue sauce bowl from my friend and fellow collector Tom Monoski after I had seen it in his room during a Tampa Bay Carnival Glass convention. He said he had purchased it for his lovely wife, Sandy,  from a nice couple, Gene & Virginia Loudon from N. Canton, Ohio during the 2003 during a Sunshine State Carnival Glass Convention in Florida.

I love the combination of this pattern called "Vintage" on the front with that of the "Hobnail" pattern on the back. The effect adds even more to its charm. I find blue Millersburg pieces are irresistible when they have just the right iridescence, in just the right places.

I know there are a few collectors who collect only these small bowls. You can see why they may become very addictive after the first one. They are simply irresistible!
