Millersburg Hanging Cherries Green Powder Jar

I purchased this on Ebay in June of 2014. It's a really dreamy piece, in mint condition, and is extremely rare in green. I thought the competition would be fierce since the last one at auction brought 10K. It's so pretty it surely must have mesmerized all who gazed upon it and put them gently to sleep, missing the end of the auction.

The bidding had ended on a beautiful afternoon while I was on the phone with a friend who had called and said I should buy it. It's a lot of fun to watch a piece sell on eBay while talking to a friend like this who is also watching with great anticipation. We were betting each other what the final price would be. To our surprise, I won it with just one bid over the rest. With fingers crossed, we really had expected it to zoom up in price during the very last seconds.  Now this is what I call an afternoon delight!
