Northwood Acorn Burrs Purple Punch Bowl Set No. 2
Description
I purchased this dramatic purple Acorn Burr punch set from Rick Stockhill of Michigan in January of 2013. He purchased it in 2006 at the HOACGA convention auction featuring the collection of Pete & Paula Bingham. This one is very dark and demure compared to my other one. It represents the essence of the Victorian era. The inside is just as impressive as the outside with all those beautiful blues. It stands 10 1/2" tall and 10 1/2" wide as well.
This and Pete's other set came to me at different times in my life. It was just a coincidence I acquired them both. I'm happy to see them reunited again because in catching up with their history it made me realize they truly belong together.
