Northwood Drapery Aqua Opal Vase

Auctioneer Mickey Reichel had an auction in April, 2016 and this vase was the only item that I had an interest in. I could not tell from the photo what the glass color was exactly, even though it was listed as Blue Opal. So I decided to make a call to the auctioneer, Mickey Reichel. Mickey told me that he didn't know for sure the exact color and said that it might be Sapphire Opal.

I could not get to Missouri right at the time of the auction so I left a hefty bid with Mickey right then. I won the vase for my exact bid and when it arrived, it was not Blue Opal or Sapphire Opal but the more common Aqua Opal. Nice vase but I ended paying double of what they are going for. I guess I should have made the trip to Missouri after all.

This A.O. Drapery vase is 7 1/4 inches high with a 3-toed, 3-inch base.
