Northwood Oriental Poppy Green Tankard

While surfing eBay in February, 2017, I came across this green Oriental Poppy tankard. What an outstanding tankard I thought, and one I needed to check out. In the description it said there was a problem with the lip. Go figure, every time you find a great piece, there's some kind of damage. On tankards, it's usually a crack at the top of the handle or a crack above the handle, On this one, it's the lip. So I read further and it said that there was a flaw there.

Sure enough, there was a small indentation on the right side of the lip right on top. This little flaw was iridized over and totally in the making. Because of that, bidding was non-existent and I won it for $250.00 and then I did a cartwheel.....well.....in my mind anyway.
