Northwood Tree Trunk Amethyst Elephant Foot Vase

We went to a small island just off the coast of North Carolina to look at a man's collection of glass.

When we arrived, he started showing us his glass, and then I saw the Elephant Foot Vase on the shelf. I asked him if it went with the collection and he said yes, if we purchased it all.

Needless to say, I purchased his entire collection. I sold the pieces that I did not want to keep, thus clearing the cost of the collection.

So that made the Elephant Foot - free - which is priceless to me.

It stands 11 inches tall and has a 5 1/4 inch base.
