U.S. Glass Cosmos & Cane Marigold Stemmed Compote

Here is a Cosmos & Cane tall compote, made by U.S. Glass, that we bought at the April 2003 WWWCGA auction in St. Louis. It sure doesn't feel like it's been that long! This was a piece that belonged to Fred Warren & Rudy Kovacs. It is 6 3/4" tall.
This is a piece that changed color in one year. It was listed as honey amber in the auction brochure but changed to marigold in the price guide! I really think that it is marigold. Everyone has their own interpretation of color. I know that the white brings more but I really like the marigold as well.
U.S. Glass also produced a Cosmos & Cane compote with a dome foot which is much shorter than this seldom seen stemmed version.
