U.S. Glass Palm Beach Purple Spittoon Whimsey From The Large Vase

Just when I thought I had seen all the shapes in this pattern, Pete Bingham found another whimsey vase in amethyst for me to buy. It's the only one we've ever seen or heard of in any color that has a spittoon shaped top.

It's 6 3/4" tall and has a 3 1/2" base. One thing's for sure; it's in great company among the rest of its family of similar large vases in my collection, many of which I purchased from Pete. He is a Palm Beach magnet! Thank you Pete for the lead.
